Synopsis:
Directed by Anastasia Tang, A LIGHT NEVER GOES OUT is Hong Kong's Official Selection for Best International Feature at the 96th Oscars. It stars the legendary Sylvia Chang, for which she took the latest Golden Horse Best Actress (Asia's version of the Oscars). It revolves around a woman attempting to reinvigorate the neon signs of Hong Kong after her husband's passing, while nurturing his apprentice in his absence.

Writer and filmmaker Anastasia TSANG studied film at Sorbonne University in Paris. Her films have explored transgender issues, marriage and relationships. Tsang’s first short film Mariage Sans Frontières (2011) won Best Short Film at Seattle Translations Short Film Festival. Selected for IFFR 2023, A Light Never Goes Out (2022) is her first feature film.
