Donna Gigliotti is one of only twelve women to win an Academy Award for Best Picture, receiving the 1998 Oscar for producing Shakespeare in Love. She also received three additional Academy Award/Best Picture nominations for Hidden Figures (2016) Silver Linings Playbook (2013) and The Reader (2008).

In 2019, she was nominated for an Emmy
for producing the ABC/Academy Awards telecast and in 2023 nominated for a second Emmy for Wuhan, Wuhan.

Ms. Gigliotti serves as a Governor of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science and also sits on the National Board of the Producers Guild of America.
