With an educational background in history and philosophy, Nurgul (Nora) Zhunussova began her career in 2002 as one of the editors in a leading Kazakh media company named Kazinform. Now based in Los Angeles, she has extensive experience in media and entertainment journalism

Nurgul is a member of the International Federation of Film Critics Choice Association, special correspondent of “Arguments and Facts Kazakhstan” and Board member of non-profit “Nuclear Free World Foundation“.
