Synopsis:

Starring Masahiko Nishimura, "MADO (Window)" is a socially conscious drama based on the true story of the "Yokohama Secondhand Smoke Trial" in Japan. Directed by Mao, the son of the plaintiff, the film tackles the sensitive issue of chemical sensitivities. Family "A" suffers from cigarette smoke pollution from Family "B" below them, leading to a lawsuit for 45 million yen after their daughter is diagnosed with multiple chemical sensitivity (MCS). The film explores the isolation of Family "A" and the differing perspectives of both families, highlighting the challenges and divisions caused by chemical hypersensitivity.
