Synopsis:
A fatigued man wakes up at a bar with a bartender who will forever change his life, as he gets to know more about her. Three criminals have somewhat accomplished their task of kidnapping their target, but their overall mission seems to go nowhere in the end. In the late 1970s, a mysterious woman runs a bar where a deadly situation will affect the lives of everyone. Two killers are looking for their faceless victim, who shows up at a diner every day at 6 o'clock sharp. Four incredibly talented Korean filmmakers, four intriguing cinematic visions, four astounding stories revolving around murderers for hire, with elements of horror, suspense, dark comedy, neo-noir, and more.

Kim Jong-kwan
Born in 1975, KIM Jong-kwan graduated from the Seoul Institute of Arts in film and began directing short films in 2001, including How to Operate a Polaroid Camera (2004) featuring a young JUNG Yu-mi. In 2008, he released an anthology of eleven shorts titled Lovers. His feature debut came in 2010 with the drama Come, Closer, followed by the critically acclaimed Worst Woman (2016), which explored the complexities of its main character, portrayed by HAN Ye-ri. That same year, he presented The Table at the Busan International Film Festival, focusing on four meaningful encounters at a café table. KIM later collaborated with other directors on the anthology Netflix film Persona (2019), featuring K-pop star IU.
Born in 1980, Roh Deok began her career by making short films and later worked as a script supervisor on the cult film Save the Green Planet (2003). After graduating from the Seoul Institute of the Arts, she directed her first short, The Secret within Her Mask, in 2005. Her feature debut, Very Ordinary Couple (2013), received acclaim and won the Best Feature Award at the Shanghai International Film Festival. She followed this with the journalistic thriller The Exclusive: Beat the Devil's Tattoo (2016), and transitioned to television in 2020 with her episode Manxin for the anthology series SF8. Roh continued to explore science fiction with the Netflix original series Glitch, which premiered in 2022.
Born in 1969, ZHANG Hang-jun is a notable screenwriter and director known for his comedy films and TV series. After graduating from Seoul Art College in 1992, he gained recognition for his screenplay for The Adventure of Mrs. Park (1996) and made his directorial debut with Break Out (2002). He joined the production collective Film It Suda and directed his most famous work, the romantic comedy Spring Breeze (2003). Despite facing challenges in getting new projects green-lighted, he shifted to television, participating in an experimental movie battle and creating the satirical comedy The King of Dramas (2012). In 2017, he returned to film with the mystery thriller Forgotten, which drew 1.4 million viewers; he is married to acclaimed playwright KIM Eun-hee.
LEE Myung-se is renowned as the most stylistic director in Korean cinema. He began his career working as an assistant director for LEE Jang-ho and other notable filmmakers. His international breakthrough came with Gagman (1988), praised by British critic Tony Rayns as a unique debut. LEE is known for blending familiar and unexpected elements in his films, with Nowhere to Hide (1999) being a significant turning point for actor JANG Dong-gun and receiving widespread acclaim. His later works, Duelist (2005) and M (2006), exemplify his distinctive aesthetic and cinematic beauty.
