Jiin Jang is a seasoned producer and actor from Seoul, South Korea, whose career began with a leading role in theatre while completing her BA in Media Arts & Entertainment at Dongduk Women’s University. After several successful performances, she transitioned into producing, taking on a range of live shows, including concerts, musicals, and museum exhibitions.

Her career took an international turn when she moved to England, where she collaborated with various renowned theatre and film productions, such as Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as well as the Grotowski Institute in Poland. Jiin holds an MA in Theatre from East 15 Acting School in London, ranked as the UK’s top drama school by The Guardian in 2021.

With a diverse background and global experience, Jiin brings a unique perspective to her work, driven by a deep passion for storytelling in underrepresented spaces. She is honored to contribute her extensive knowledge and insights as a jury member at the Asian World Film Festival, where she can champion Asian cinema on the world stage.
