Andy Cheng is a veteran stuntman. He performed stunts for Jackie Chan in both Hong Kong and Hollywood. He later became an action director for many films in the US, including, for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s films and Marvel’s Shang-Chi. In recent years, he was honored as the first recipient of the prestigious Bruce Lee Award, that was specially endorsed by Bruce Lee Foundation, the award that is given to martial arts veterans who devote their career to promote Bruce Lee's philosophy of martial arts. The Asian World Film Festival is thrilled to have him on board as the director of the Bruce Lee Award and other martial arts-related programs.
