Peach Blossom, Pho and Piano

Born in Hanoi in 1954 to a non-artistic family, Phi Tien Son pursued his passion for film by studying at Hanoi Polytechnic University and later at the University of Film and Television in Germany. He has won multiple awards for Best Cinematography at Vietnamese film festivals and gained recognition for his directing skills with successful dramas like "Prison Blower" and films like "Into the South to the North." His recent work, "Peach, Pho and Piano," released in 2023, won the Silver Lotus Award and became a box office hit in early 2024. Throughout his career, Phi Tien Son has significantly influenced Vietnamese cinema, both as a filmmaker and a mentor to emerging talent.
