Ayanat Ksenbai
Ayanat Ksenbai is a famous Kazakh-American actress, fashion designer and humanitarian. She has starred in a number of motion pictures, including an epic film titled Nomad the Warrior, produced by the late, great Milos Forman and directed by Ivan Passer and Sergei Bodrov. Ayanat also played a lead role in the highly acclaimed drama Ulzhan, directed by Oscar-winning German director Volker Schlondorff. Ayanat's latest film titled About Mannequin has qualified for consideration at this year's Oscars.
As a fashion designer Ayanat launched her first fashion collection in 2016 as part of New York Fashion Week under "Ayanat New York". Since then the brand "Ayanat NY" has been successfully operating in New York.
As a humanitarian, Ayanat has established a charity organization, U.S. Kazakh Women's Alliance, through which she and her colleagues work to assist underserved women and single mothers in Kazakhstan and Central Asia to help women in need explore their full potential and obtain the necessary skills to improve their quality of life.
